Diane Rasmussen was born and raised in Minnesota. As a child, she sketched jewelry designs and aspired to pursue an art degree after graduation from high school. However, she took what she thought was the responsible route and obtained a business degree from the University of Sioux Falls. From that point on, she raised a family and worked in the financial industry.

In 2007, Diane started designing jewelry more to satisfy her own desire to find pieces that she liked and fit her personality. Over time, her passion to create “wearable art” was ignited. She would create jewelry and use her friends as critics. In 2009, Diane’s daughter and a good friend suggested she start marketing her pieces. As a result, this friend hosted Diane’s first “home show” which debuted her artwork. Since this time, Diane’s jewelry and accessories have been displayed all over the world.

Diane works primarily with semi-precious stones creating unique one-of-a kind jewelry and related pieces. She will often create custom items for those special people and/or occasions.
